We led a consultant team of organizations deeply rooted in underrepresented communities, including Rule Seven, Abdullahi Jama, and HomeSight, to advise PSRC on strengthening its equity objectives when embarking on Vision 2050. MAKERS reviewed similar agencies’ equity indicators, programs, and policies and recommended ways for PSRC to better center race and social justice. This included better tracking and relaying displacement, mobility, and access to opportunity issues and tying transportation funding to social equity criteria.
